The desk
Torqfile sells file processing to workshops that already own a flash tool. You upload an original read, choose the solutions that ECU supports, and download the result. Torqfile does not read the car, and it does not ship a Windows program, a dongle, or a licence key.
Your account
An account is for one workshop. Do not share the login, and do not resell access to the desk. You confirm that you hold the right to every file you upload, and that the read is complete and correct. A confirmed account can enter one free-file code, described in the refund policy, before a plan is required. Five of those files open each day.
Plans, files, and credits
A plan opens the desk and sets the slave cap. Starter is €49 a month or €490 a year: 5 Autotuner slave files a day. Workshop is €79 a month or €790 a year: 10 a day. Shop is €99 a month or €990 a year: 20 a day. A year is priced as ten months. Every plan includes one free file each week: one support-list solution, such as DPF, EGR, or AdBlue. A tune, or two solutions on the same file, uses credits. The week resets at Monday midnight UTC. If that solution cannot be created, the weekly file is not used. Plans include no credits.
A job is paid in credits at the price quoted for that selection. A file is 10 credits. DTC removal alone is 5 credits, and adding another solution makes that file 10 credits. Credits are bought ahead of the job and spent when the job is placed. Packs are 10 credits for €120, 50 for €550, and 100 for €1,000. Credits stay until they are used. They are not cash and cannot be exchanged for cash. A fair-use cap of 30 files a day and 500 a month applies on every plan. The slave cap resets at midnight UTC. One call takes at most 10 solutions. A licence or fee charged by your tool maker stays with you.
Credits for a paid job come back only when the solution cannot be created. A delivered file keeps the credits it used. The free file is one support-list solution, such as DPF, EGR, or AdBlue, processed during working hours. A tune needs a plan. If that free solution cannot be created, the free file is not used. A solution bundled on the same paid file at no extra credits is marked free.
Payment
Subscriptions and packs are billed by Creem. A subscription renews until you cancel in the billing portal. Cancellation keeps the desk open until the period you already paid for ends. A failed payment closes the desk until the charge is collected, and files are not delivered while the account is unpaid. The price you accept stays the price of that subscription. A later price change applies to a new subscription. A workshop buying for its business has no statutory right to withdraw from a completed purchase.
Lawful use
You are the person who flashes the vehicle, and you are the person who speaks to your own customer. Some solutions change emissions-related functions, including AdBlue, DPF, and EGR. Using those on a public road is unlawful in much of the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Type approval, inspection rules, and insurance terms can forbid them too. Motorsport, off-road, closed-course, and any other use your local rules allow are your decision. Torqfile does not tell you how to present a road car for an inspection, and it does not take that responsibility from you.
Time and results
How long a file takes is an estimate. The file, the control unit, the original data, the tool, and the queue all move that time. The free file is processed during working hours. A late file is not a claim for lost workshop time, and it is not a return of the payment. Power and torque figures on the coverage pages come from tested examples. They are not a promise of power, fuel use, emissions, durability, or how that car will drive.
Files and liability
Files stay on your desk so you can download the result again. Keep your own untouched original. You are responsible for the condition of the vehicle, for reading and writing with a method that suits that ECU, and for having the tool and the skill to do it. The result is produced from the file you sent. Credits come back only when the solution cannot be created, as the refund page describes. A file that was made, a bad read, a bad write, a fault already in the vehicle, or a third-party tool keeps the charge.
Torqfile is not liable for indirect loss: lost profit, a vehicle off the road, diagnostics, or a claim from your customer. Liability for a job stops at the credits charged for that job. The desk can be interrupted for maintenance or a fault in the file service. That interruption leaves the paid period as it is. Coverage limits are described on the ECU coverage page.
These terms sit with the delivery, refund, privacy, cookie, acceptable use, and ECU coverage pages. Buying or using the desk means you accept them.
